Turnips under attack

I am trying my hand at organic gardening for the first time. I sowed a number of vegetables 3 weeks ago here in Ireland and the ones that are thriving are the peas (presumably because it fixes nitrogen) and potatoes. My turnips are under attack from something. Ive seen a slug on them but presumably its more than slugs. You can see in the pics there are white spots and holes in the leaves, whats likely to be attacking them? And what can i do?
